CryoDAO Monthly - July: Cool Minds in a Hot Town
Hey folks! Today marks our second newsletter here at CryoDAO, and we’ve had an exciting month strengthening our partnerships and presenting in Miami. Let’s jump into some of the updates from the world of CRYO.
CryoDAO <> Molecule Partnership
At the beginning of July, CryoDAO’s Molecule partnership proposal passed with a 100% positive vote. This will support the launch of our very first IP-NFTs and IPTs. CryoCore worked with Molecule to produce a Dealflow and Development Services Agreement.
What are IP-NFTs and IPTs?
Intellectual Property NFTs (IP-NFTs): IP-NFTs are non-fungible tokens that register scientific IP onchain. IP-NFTs provide a secure, immutable record of scientific IP ownership and rights, enabling easy IP transfer, verification, and management.
Intellectual Property Tokens (IPTs): IPTs are fungible tokens that distribute the IP rights associated with a particular IP-NFT, decentralizing its scientific process by enabling globally distributed governance of it and transforming the way scientists engage with their online communities.
CryoDAO and Molecule will build a pipeline of groundbreaking cryopreservation research projects and tokenize them. As an example, VitaDAO recently launched their second IPT fundraise, VITARNA, raising over $300,000.

BIO Genesis
The upcoming BIO token gives holders governance rights in the top biotech DAOs like CryoDAO and tokenized IP assets, enabling broad exposure to the DeSci space.
The BIO Genesis has been announced with an official date of August 8! The only way to get BIO is by buying and swapping one of 8 DeSci tokens (including CRYO) with the protocol. This will be a big moment for all of DeSci and we've prepared for it with CRYO-15: CRYO Allocation for BIO Genesis Event. The Genesis event is capped at $30M in total contributions.
For more details on CryoDAO's allocation for the event, see BIOPSY-4: BIO Genesis. CryoDAO will also receive 13,320,000 BIO directly to our treasury for being part of the first cohort of BioDAOs.

Global Cryonics Summit
Almost 200 cryonicists from around the world gathered in Miami at the Global Cryonics Summit, sponsored by CryoDAO. There were scientists, enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and more. The talks included everything from cryonics organization updates to research breakthroughs, and attendees received their very own CryoDAO pin—which was a huge hit.
The event started off with the President’s Panel, featuring both Emil Kendziorra and Kai Micah Mills from CryoCore who discussed Tomorrow Bio, Cryopets, and CryoDAO.
Later on in the day, CryoDAO was pitched by four different researchers:
Dr. Ramón Risco with a novel rewarming technique for large organs using ultrasound
Dr. Ralf Spindler with analyzing memory retention in vitrified brains
Dr. Regina Monaco with preservation of training in
cryopreserved and revived neural systems
Dr. Borys Wróbel with a new organization for human brain cryopreservation
The CryoDAO dealflow working group has already been in chats with most of these researchers, and there will soon be updates there.
Finally, Kai Micah Mills from CryoCore presented CryoDAO, talking about our recent fundraise, the CryoDAO Fellowship, CRYO token and more.
It was a great event which set the stage for an even cooler month in August. Look forward to the next cohort of cryopreservation research and CryoDAO fellows coming soon!
